What is the difference between Live Account and Demo Account?

What is the amount I receive in my Demo Account?

After the registration, you will be able to access a demo account with 10,000 virtual money according to your registered currency.

How do I receive my first password and username?

Your login details have been sent to your email address after registration on the platform. In case you require further assistance with login to your account you can always contact our customer support.

How do I reset my password?

Resetting your password is easy. Click on Log In and then on Forgot password. After entering your email address, you'll receive an email with further instructions. In case you require further assistance with password resetting you

How can I deposit?

In order to deposit, log in to your account, and then click on Deposit button. There are multiple deposit methods you can choose from.

How can I withdraw my funds?

For making a withdrawal, simply log in to your account, click on the Withdrawal tab. Enter in the amount you wish to withdraw and fill in on the required options.

Are my funds and personal details safe?

Creating an Account

Can I register under a nickname?

While filling up the registration form, all clients need to indicate their real name matching the name indicated in the document, confirming client's identity.

Can I register without depositing funds?

Yes. There is no obligation to deposit upon registering. Only when you actually want to start trading you may deposit funds.

Can I have more than one trading account?

We recommend clients focus on one trading account, and we reserve the right to close subsequent accounts. However, each case will be assessed on an individual basis. If an additional trading account is permitted, it must be operated independently and it is not possible to transfer funds between the two accounts.

What types of accounts are available?

We offer a wide range of Account Types, depending on your invested capital. You can click on the Account Types to learn more.

How can I update the email address and phone number in my account?

In order to change your email address or phone number, kindly send us an email to support@specialcfd.com with the updated information. Later you will be contacted by your Senior Account Manager and after confirming your request over the phone, a Customer Support Agent will update your data.

How can I change my residential details?

If you changed your residential address, kindly send us the new proof of residence to support@specialcfd.com and a Customer Support Agent will make the update.

What is the difference between the Demo account and the Real Money account?

You trade in real market conditions, both in the Demo and in the Real Money accounts. The only difference between the two, is that in the Demo account you do not use real money.

Making a Deposit

How can I deposit?

In order to deposit, log in to your account, and then click on Deposit button. Here are multiple deposit methods you can choose from.

What is the minimum initial deposit?

After you logged in, you can check the minimum deposit on the Account Type you have chosen. One The Basic Account Type the minimum amount you can invest is €200.

What payment methods are available for making a deposit?

You may deposit funds through Credit Cards & Wire Transfers.

How do I verify my deposit method?

In case you placed a deposit with the card you will need to send images of the front and back sides of your card with the first 12 digits and CVV code covered. In case you deposited with wire transfer you will need to provide us with the confirmation of transaction you placed with us. You can provide the required information to our email address support@specialcfd.com.

How are my banking transactions secured?

All transactions are protected with a combination of security systems and firewalls, ensuring that your account and banking details are safe and secure. Our transaction security uses SSL (including both Click SSL and Thawte SSL) that goes above the industry standard and ensures that your sensitive information is protected when completing transactions.

Account Verification Process

How do I become a verified client?

In order to become a verified investor, you need to provide clear and colored photos of the required documents below:

  • A valid passport/national ID or a driving license – the front and back sides.
  • A utility bill or bank statement – the entire page of the document, dated within 3 months, showing your name and full address.
  • If the deposit is made via credit card - the credit card used, both front and back sides. Please cover the first 12 digits on the front side and the CVV code (3 digits) on the back side.

If the deposit is made via bank transfer – a screenshot of your confirmation of the bank transfer deposit. Kindly send the required documents to support@specialcfd.com.

What is a proof of identity?

A proof of identity (POI) is one of the documents required for account verification. As per regulation rules, we can accept a passport, national ID or driving license as a proof of identity.

What is a proof of residence?

A proof of residence (POR) is one of the documents required for account verification. As per regulation rules, we can accept a utility bill or bank statement as a proof of residence.

Why do I need to provide the documents?

The verification process, as mentioned in our terms and conditions, is an integral part of our regulatory security requirements and is entirely mandatory, as it allows preventing cases of fraudulent activities.

Once I have submitted a proof of identity, will I need to repeat that process for each transaction?

No, once you have submitted the appropriate documents to complete withdrawals or deposits you will not need to repeat the process.

Fees

Do you charge fees for keeping an account inactive?

No, we do not charge any fees. But if there are no transactions (deposits, withdrawals or trading activity) on your Trading Account for a period of at least six (6) months or more, the Company reserves the right, to block the account.

Are there fees for placing a deposit?

There are no deposit fees charged to the client.

What is my trading account?

After completing your registration, a personal trading account is created, and you can start trading.

What is a spread?

Spread is the difference between the bid (sell) and ask (buy) price.

What is a pip?

A ‘pip’ stands for ‘Price Interest Point’ or ‘Percentage in Point’ and is used as a unit of measure of the change in value of a currency pair – a pip is the smallest allowable fluctuation in its price. Most of the currencies, unlike Japanese yen, have 2 decimal points e.g. 1 dollar = 100 cents.

What is a leverage?

A leverage increases your purchasing power hence enables you to gain a large exposure to a financial market while only tying up a relatively small amount of your capital. CFDs are leveraged, which means you only have to put down a small deposit for much larger exposure. Leverage increases your profit potential as well as the risk of losing your capital.

What is a CFD?

A CFD (Contract for difference), offers traders the opportunity to speculate on, and possibly earn a profit from the price movement, without actually physically owning the underlying asset. By using a CFD (basically a contract between a buyer and seller that specifies a certain purchase price), it allows for profits or losses based, on the change in the price of the underlying asset during a specified time frame. CFDs can be traded in all the major markets, Forex, Stocks, Indices, Commodities and Crypto currencies.

What is a Stop Loss?

Stop Loss is an order to close a Transaction in a CFD position at a price determined in advance by you, which in the case of a Buy is lower than the opening Transaction price, and in the case of a Sell is higher than the opening Transaction price. A Stop Loss order may serve as a risk minimization strategy however, it cannot be guaranteed since during abnormal conditions and high volatility, a Stop Loss order may be executed at a worse price.

What is a Take Profit?

A Take Profit is an order to close a Transaction in a CFD position at a price determined in advance by you, which in the case of a Buy is higher than the opening Transaction price and in the case of a Sell is lower than the opening Transaction price.

What is a Pending Order?

A pending order is an instruction to open a position when an instrument reaches a certain pre-defined price set by you. Whether a limit order or a stop order, the position will only be filled when the financial instrument reaches a certain price and has found a buyer, or buyers.

What is a Crypto Trading?

Crypto trading, or crypto currency trading, is simply the exchange of crypto currencies. Like in Forex, you can also buy and sell a crypto currency for another. This is one way of getting involved in the world of crypto currencies without having to mine it.

What is a Physical Shares Trading?

A physical shares trading is trading with the assets you actually own. Please note that CFD trading allows you to access the market and gives you the possibility to trade a portfolio of underlying assets based on their price movement without physically owning those assets.

What are the global markets hours?

Trading on the global market is available from Monday till Friday, 24 hours a day, excluding public holidays.

Where do you get your prices from?

We are receiving our prices from our liquidity provider.

What is a swap?

A swap fee is charged when you keep a position open overnight.

What is a LOT?

A lot is the standard number of units per transaction and represents the size of your trades in CFDs. The standard size for a lot is 100,000 units of currency, and now, there are also mini, micro, and nano lot sizes that are 10,000, 1,000, and 100 units

What is an ETF?

The Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) is a marketable security that tracks the performance of an asset or a group of assets that may include indices, commodities, bonds, etc. and is traded on exchanges like indices and shares.

What can I do if I can't log in to my account?

Make sure that you are trying to open/close trade within the asset's Trading Hours. If the market is open and you still can't open/close a trade do not hesitate to contact our Customer Support.

Why is my credit/debit card deposit not going through?

There might be a limit or block on your card for online purchase or international transactions. In order to confirm the exact reason for deposit decline we suggest you to contact your bank customer support.

What to do if I experience problem with connection or my trading account?

Please check your internet connection and try clearing your browser cache and cookies. In case the issue persists, do not hesitate to contact our Customer Support for further assistance.
